Shuck It: Oyster Education & Tasting with Bryan Rackley of Kimball House & Watchman’s

 Tickets are available HERE

Join Slow Food Atlanta for our next Slow Food For Thought: Foodways Education Series event with oyster wrangler, Bryan Rackley, a partner of Watchman’s Seafood and Spirits and Kimball House. Bryan makes a point of visiting the producers featured on the all-star oyster list with many of the trips documented on his Instagram. Bryan says, "We really value that relationship building.”

About the Event

This event is ideal for guests who are either new to oysters or those who already love them, and are eager to deepen their knowledge about them.

  •  Watchman’s Bryan Rackley will take guests on a “deep dive” tour behind all things oysters, from their role in sustainability as a food source to the important work being done by Oyster South in the growing industry.

  • After a detailed talk, guests will be treated to a guided tasting of 5 oysters from different parts of the United States, along with 3 alcoholic beverages.

  •  The timing of this event acts as a prequel to Oyster South’s fundraiser, "Landlocked 3" on October 20, 2019 organized by Kimball House. Tickets are available HERE
