Join Slow Food Atlanta for a local Potluck in celebration of the annual Terra Madre Day to promote the diversity of food traditions and production. Come take an active part in expressing our love for the planet and a desire to defend the future for the next generations.
Five Seasons Brewery Westside is our host. Each of us will be bringing a dish to share with all attendees. Beverages will be cash bar. Sign up to attend and select the dish type you will be bringing.
We will be hearing from several of our own US Delegates who attended Terra Madre Salone del Gusto US in Turin, Italy in September.
So, come spend your Sunday afternoon with Slow Food Atlanta to celebrate good, clean, fair food for all , discuss the relevance of biodiversity to build a better future, and spread the word through our extensive network of global supporters!
We ask you to include the hashtags #terramadre2016 in your posts to help spread the word about Terra Madre.
About Terra Madre Day
Since 2009, each year on Slow Food’s anniversary, food communities and Slow Food convivia all around the world celebrate local eating, agricultural biodiversity and sustainable food production. Celebrations take shape with hundreds of events ranging from collective meals, fundraisers, community festivals, protests, workshops for children, excursions to producers, and much more. It’s our way of demonstrating diversity and Slow Food’s philosophy of good, clean and fair food to communities, the media and decision makers.
