Global Growers specializes in supporting farmers who have come to metro-Atlanta as  refugees.  Many are from agrarian backgrounds where local foods and food systems were a way of life. As expert agriculturalists from around the world, their farmer network has vital knowledge to offer.

Global Growers also works with American-born farmers, with an emphasis on low-income and socially disadvantaged growers who are not currently being served by mainstream agricultural organizations.  The farmers are global, and the food is local. We're so excited to be joining the Global Growers' family for a tour of one of their farm properties.

Members can attend for only $5 a person. Not a member? Not a problem! Feel free to join us for $35 OR go ahead and become a member at www.slowfoodatlanta.org/become-a-member and attend for the reduced rate. (Remember: if you're thinking of joining us for two events this year, your membership pays for itself!!)
