Reading At The Table • Four Fish - Paul Greenberg

  • Watershed 1820 Peachtree St. NW Atlanta, GA 30309 United States (map)

Want to know how you can eat more sustainable seafood? Curious about how fish gets to your plate? In honor of the Slow Fish event being held in New Orleans in March, our first book will be Four Fish. In it Greenberg explores the four most common fish - salmon, sea bass, cod and tuna. And, Sam Sifton of The New York Times Book Review says, "A necessary book for anyone truly interested in what we take from the sea to eat, and how, and why.”

About Reading At The Table:

Slow Food Atlanta's Reading At The Table Book Club connects people who enjoy food-related literature, both non-fiction and fiction. The club meets at 6:30 pm on the second Tuesday of every other month. Everyone who attends brings an appetizer to share, and we enjoy an evening of lively literary discussion. New readers are always welcome!

Slow Food ATL would like to thank A Cappella Books (208 Haralson Ave. NE, Atlanta, GA 30307, 404-681-5128) for their support of our book club by offering 20% discount on all books. We encourage you to support your local bookseller, as you would your local food producer, in the spirit of "Slow" living.
