Reading At The Table • Provence, 1970 - Luke Barr

  • Wrecking Bar Brewpub 292 Moreland Avenue Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30307 United States (map)

This unique book takes us through a historic conversation between James Beard, M.F.K Fisher, Julia Child, Richard Olney, Simone Beck, and Judith Jones about the future of the food movement from their time together in Southern France in 1970. M.F.K Fisher chronicled their conversations in journals and letters -- some of which were later discovered by Luke Barr, her great-nephew. Join us for our own version of this conversation, as we look back into the past through the minds of legendary leaders in the food movement.
