SOLD OUT Date: Sunday, February 21, 2010 Join seven of Atlanta’s favorite chefs for an intimate, family-style dinner that pays homage to food memories of the South and raises funds for Slow Food’s Terra Madre Foundation. In addition to sharing five courses of reinterpreted southern family recipes --- each course inspired by a food memory from the preparing chef --- guests will enjoy a word from Slow Food International Founder Carlo Petrini on the importance of Terra Madre and the future of Slow Food and a rare performance by Emily Saliers of the Indigo Girls. Thank you to our sponsors:
Georgia Flooded Farms Relief Fund Help now with your donations The recent floods have caused a lot of heartbreak and damage to local, family farms. We are still assessing the situation as to the number of farmers that will need assistance and the extent of the losses. Some farms have extensive damage; they have lost all of their crops and suffered devastating livestock losses. Unfortunately, FEMA does not provide relief funds to farmers affected by the floods; they will only offer loans. In order to assist our local farmers we have created the Georgia Flooded Farms Relief Fund. For More inforamtions & video links click here to to visit our News page
